As We Get It Islay Single Malt

A mystery malt here from Ian Macleod’s excellent As We Get It series! This single malt Scotch whisky comes from an undisclosed distillery in the Islay region – no hints as to which one specifically (unless you count how it tastes to be a hint, which… Well, yeah, if you were super clued up on distillery flavor profiles, you might be able to take a good guess). It’s been bottled up at cask strength, a hefty 61% ABV.
